4 Days, 3 Nights, Bangkok, Free & Easy.. Yeap.. there's where i'm MIA to... well, there hw it is...

First Day
didnt skip sch today.. still went for my normal 4 hr lecture at LT6.. damns, its a lousy lecture room.. small like shit.. =X anyway, after lecture, went to see supervisor.. and thks to some pple, meeting as shifted to 1pm.. lucky lecturer came at 12 35... so well, gt enuff time to show her before rushing off.. wanted to met rynel to get somethings, but couldnt make it.. leave sch at around 1 35 off to home to pick up luggage.. elder sister already in airport, mum still working.. younger sister at home doing hmwk.. so rush a little and manage to be at the airport at 3pm to check in.. pro huh.. =X

went for lunch at subway.. haha.. den walk walk a little.. called dad tell him we going off le.. den board the plane.. 2 hr journey with 1 hr time difference.. so well.. in plane nthing much... we took more time cos of head wind and bad weather in bangkok.. raining quite badly.. haha... landed and clear immigration everything.. took a taxi to our hotel, samram place hotel.. the hotel is nt bad.. its 18 bucks per nite, with complementary breakfast.. its 5 minutes walk to the BTS, and 1 stop away from siam paragon.. 2 stops away from CCK market... =)

and thai are great people.. along the way, our cab was lost.. he stop the cab and wanted to alight.. den some passerby came knocking on our door and the cabbie lower the window.. our cabbie ask for directions and the passerby juz told them.. hw nice thais are.. its raining somemore and he is kind enough to walk to our cab and assist us.. damns gd...

check in and quickly went out to hunt for food... its getting late.. didnt eat anything actually... cos all the store were closing and gt nthing to sell us.. so walk back to our hotel where we settle for some street stall food.. hahas...


Day 2
day 2 started with breakfast at the hotel.. its so-so.. we woke up at 5am juz for the breakfast and an early start in shopping to avoid the crowd.. its 6am and the sun is so high up.. its like 8am in singapore.. haha.. had breakfast and we head to CCK weekend market.. there we spent like 5 solid hours shopping.. 1 day cannot finish one.. walk and walk and walk.. they sell practically anything and everything.. clothes, toys, artifacts, shoes, dried goods, illegal weapons, pets, live animals.. you name it, you hav it... soons the crowd start to come in.. we gt tired and head back to hotel..

by the time we reach hotel is 3 15pm already.. we rested till about 4 before going out to hav food.. went to this MK resturant... steamboat which is dirt cheap.. its a resturant.. each side dish cost about 20 baht, about 1 sing dollars.. love the roasted duck there... den went to tis another shopping centre which is a bridge away from MBK.. cant rmb the name.. nthing nice things sold there.. spent 2 hrs, and we meet again.. we walk over to MBK and bought some dried goods.. the "dog shit" and all those stuff.. we spen like 2k baht over there, and the person help us pack into a box..

took a tuk tuk back to hotel.. our first tuk tuk experience.. it was great.. a must try but definately nt the transport to use in bangkok.. the best transport is actually by foot.. u get to see all the street stalls.. den its their train.. which avoids the jam.. of cos to the airport u hav to use the cab.. hahas... so well, went to hotel, drop our stuff and back out we go again.. this time we head to a whole sale market juz outside central shopping centre.. better things to get there.. haha.. den we head back to hotel again.. its street store for supper.. haha.. beef noodles these time round.. nt tat bad.. nice... den we started packing and off to bed...


Day 3
day 3.. elder sister and younger sister cannot wake up for breakfast.. so we had like 7 30am breakfast.. hahas.. den we head out to another whole sale market at platnium shopping centre tat area.. we went to several places... first to the wholesale market.. den to the IT City, and finally the platnium shopping centre...

wholesale market was alrite.. gt some clothes to buy.. well, nt IT City.. its like sim lim square.. nthing to buy.. so well, we didnt spend much time there.. den we went to platnium centre.. best place.. we onli allocated 2 hrs and definately there's lots more to shop.. spend most of the time in 2 shops onli.. the disney wholesale store and one of the shirt store.. damn gd.. the place sells cheap and gd stuff... so well, after tat we made our way to foodcourt up there.. the food there is great... ate alot of things there.. the egg omelette rice, beef soup, tom yam soup, thai chicken rice, bean desserts, mango with glutinous rice and coconut milk.. damns, alot of things...

after tat we went home and drop our items... well, we wanted to take the tuk tuk, but the person offer us 10 baht and wanted us to sponsor him.. definately a scam.. we choose to walk back to our hotel.. 15 minutes walk.. so went back was like 3 already.. we unpack, rest a while, leave hotel at around 5pm again..

tis time we went to the red light district of bangkok.. its like 3 mrt stops away from our hotel.. we stock up chewing gums.. den we went to see the market at the red light district.. mans, the market cannot buy anything de.. its all marked up by 3 times.. things i can get for 150 baht outside, they're selling at 950 baht... bargaining onli bring items down to 550 baht for most of the item.. the best i can bring it down is to 220 baht.. didnt buy anything.. scenery is another thing here.. there are lots of pole dancer around.. they wear onli things to cover the top and the bottom.. and they each hav a pole at the bar.. the pole is like less than 5 metres away from the entrance.. sometime u can see them walking around to other pubs.. and worst still, some are ah guas... haha.. other than seeing, there's nthing much to do here..

so we took a train and transfer to a tuk tuk to chinatown area.. so second tuk tuk trip... shorter trip.. we went to look for the sharkfin soup which is recommended.. manage to find it, and the service is damn gd... we ta pao roasted pork and when we settle down at the stall, the service was great mans.. the pple understand chinese.. everyone of us ordered a 300 baht claypot sharkfin soup which serves for 2.. we juz drink the soup for dinner.. there's free flow of vege and even those sweet bird nest like drink... they even help us put the roasted pork into a plate and giv us chopstick to eat.. damns gd... and when some old customer come patrolnise the store, the shop assistance still help them look for a parking lot.. well, its all about trust there.. hahas...

after tat we took the tuk tuk back to the mrt station.. our tuk tuk had some communication breakdown and brought us to the wrong place.. did i mention the thais are great pple.. at a traffic junction.. i was showing the tuktuk driver the a pix of where we wan to go.. and the taxi driver beside us wind down the window and help us convey the msg to the tuktuk driver.. hw nice.. well, the tuk tuk driver know wad is subway, but nt mrt.. haha..

talking about subway, thai security is there mans.. they check ur bags before u even take the escalator down to the train station.. at each platform, there is a security officer.. nt sure if they are the police.. and mans, security is really there.. there's tis sense of security.. even BTS hav such things..

so we went back to our hotel.. stop by 7-11 and i took the opportunity to try another streetside store.. wanton noodle tis time round.. alrite, nt too bad too.. haha.. went back to hotel and started to pack again... =)


Day 4
day 4 is our last day.. we didnt go out in the morning.. wanted to hit platnium centre again, but too tired to do so... haha.. late breakfast, around 9am.. den check out and we left our bags at the lobby.. went to MBK these time round.. do some last minute shopping.. we gt dunkin donuts there, some last minute shopping of clothes.. had lunch at sizzler there.. den went back to hotel...

started to repack everything and mans, hotel service is great.. tis receptionist service is gd.. he asked us where we wan go, which airport, whether we did book cab already.. we said nt yet and he offer to help us.. he ask us wan hire cab from street or call to book... whether we go by meter or by nego price.. den he went out to look for the cab for us and divert the cab to the hotel carpark.. mans, their service is great.. i go home with gd memories..

ride to hotel was smooth.. no jam.. check in and amazingly, no excess limit.. mine was the best... 19.3kg.. hahas.. thks to the clothes and food.. haha... so well, we went into the transit.. had some light snack before boarding the aircraft.. suppose to board at 17 20.. but we were at the central security screening at 17 20... so well, it was jam packed with long queue.. we manage to made it juz in time.. hahas... trip back to singapore is kinda fast.. perhaps its cos of gd weather?? hahs..

landed at singapore, manage to take a short pix at the cockpit as the aircraft is turning over to new dehli i think.. so well, better than nthing.. love it mans.. so cool.. hahas... den went to buy some duty free, collect luggage, and cab home... flight landed at 9 20, reached home at around 10.. veri smooth journey.. =)


alrite, thailand; bangkok is obviously fun~~ i cant wait to go again.. hopefully sokkee is going, den we can tag along.. o.0 ya, i skipped the morning 2 hr lecture on tuesday.. bad me~~ =X
